DESCRIPTION:Are you unsure if network analysis is an appropriate method fo
 r your research\, or do you not know which programme could suit your needs
 ? In this workshop\, Martin Grandjean\, an expert in historic network anal
 ysis\, will address these questions. In the 1st part\, Martin will introdu
 ce and discuss some use cases of network research. In the 2nd part\, he wi
 ll demonstrate basic features of the free open-source programme Gephi\, wh
 ich is the leading visualisation and exploration software for all kinds of
  graphs and networks. After the demonstration\, there will be time for que
 stions and discussion of your own projects.You can download Gephi prior to
