biblical exegesis and homiletics in the Early Church, history and dogma of the Early Church and beyond, pagan polemics against Christianity and Christian apologetics, Cyril of Alexandria, modern history of theology, Church History, and Christian archaology as a academic disciplines, history of Jewish-Christian relations, the role of Christianity in modern society and in politics
