Summer School NeurotechEU
The interdisciplinary summer school "Neural Networks, Manipulation and Ethics" will explore the neuroethical connections between AI and humans and their decision making. By combining normative frameworks of manipulation, free will and responsibility with concepts of AI ethics, and by considering the impact of AI in different areas of human life, the aim is an understanding of manipulation, manipulability and the challenges posed by AI, as well as possible solutions.
In keynotes and workshops, participants will learn about the philosophical, neuroscientific and ethical dimensions of the manipulation and manipulability of AI and humans. The Summer School will also feature a ideathon, where participants will work closely with leading companies from Germany in the field of neuroscience and AI. They will tackle current ethical challenges in technology development and present their ideas at the end of the Summer School.
