The Sportlight Discussion "Invisible Women - Gender Bias and the Future of Feminist AI" will explore the origins and impact of gender bias in AI systems and examine how feminist perspectives can help mitigate these biases. The event begins with a 30-minute guided tour of the exhibition 'Her mit den Portr[AI]ts!'. Following the tour, the spotlight discussion will feature three 10-minute talks by Eva Maria Hille (Department of (Social) Ethics), Hannah Greß (Workgroup Personalized Digital Health and Telemedicine), and Dr. Julia Maria Mönig (Center for Science and Thought). In keynotes and workshops, participants will learn about the philosophical, neuroscientific and ethical dimensions of the manipulation and manipulability of AI and humans. The Summer School will also feature a ideathon, where participants will work closely with leading companies from Germany in the field of neuroscience and AI. They will tackle current ethical challenges in technology development and present their ideas at the end of the Summer School.
