Bright sunshine, many colourful booths and beautifully dressed graduates: Last Saturday, the annual Unifest took place on the Hofgartenwiese. After After two years in which the program had to be adjusted and reduced due to the pandemic, the event could begin this year again with a joint march of all faculties.
Afterwards, the Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael Hoch, addressed a warm welcome to all the guests. In the tent shared with the Faculty of Catholic Theology, Prof. Dr. Wolfram Kinzig – representing the Dean who was ill – awarded the traditional decorative certificates to the graduates of the Faculty of Protestant Theology.
Between a final group photo and the tossing of the hats by all graduates, there was a lively program of speeches and music on the stage, as well as various stands with food, drink and hands-on activities.
The conclusion of those involved? We are already looking forward to next year.
