Since winter semester 2022/23, Hannah Bleher is doctoral researcher at the Department of (Social) Ethics at the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Bonn.

Since september 2021, an interdisciplinary group of engineers, medical experts, ethicists, sports scientists and psychologists is working as a collaborative research center funded by the DFG.

Zia Fellow

Hannah Bleher is a fellow of ZEIT Verlag’s Zia "Visible Women in Science" program. The fellowship is awarded each year by 25 experts of all research disciplins.

Get to know Hannah

Hannah Bleher is doctoral researcher at the Department of (Social) Ethics.

Before that, she was a doctoral researcher and lecturer at FAU-Erlangen-Nürnberg. Hannah Bleher studied Protestant Theology at the Universities of Neuendettelsau, Erlangen, Stellenbosch (South Africa) and Tübingen. During her studies 2012-18, she was a fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and also the Evangelische Stift Tübingen.

Since 2020, Hannah Bleher has been a researcher in the interdisciplinary project SMART Start: Smart sensoric during pregancy, where she conducts research on ethical aspects of digitalisation in medicine and on clinical use of AI-driven technologies. In addition, she is a researcher of EmpkinS – a collaborative research center funded by the DFG.

In her dissertation project, Hannah Bleher is working on figurations and questions of shaping compromises from a public-theological and political-theoretical perspective.
