Bonn liest ein Buch
As part of the literature series ‘Bonn liest ein Buch’ (Bonn reads a book), Denise Wallat and Eva Maria Hille organised a dialogue evening in the church pavilion on 4 November in cooperation with the Evangelisches Forum Bonn (Protestant Forum Bonn). This year's literature series focuses on the novel ‘The Anger That Remains’ by Mareike Fallwickl. In their talk, Denise Wallat and Eva Maria Hille combined literature and science and used the novel to highlight feminist-ethical perspectives on family, womanhood, anger and resistance.
Andrew Barnhart receives Argelander Starter-Kit
Dr. Andrew Barnhart has been awarded the Argelander Starter-Kit (B) Grant from the University of Bonn. This competitive early-career award will support his new research on the ethics and governance of cutting-edge biohybrid intelligence.
2nd Networking Conference on Systematic Theology
From 1 to 3 September 2025, the second networking conference for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in systematic theology took place at Haus Impulse in Bonn. Over 30 participants from Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands came together to engage intensively with the topic of communication – as an opportunity and a challenge for theology in academic, ecclesiastical and social spheres.

How to Find Us by Bus and Train

Go by train until Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof). The building "Rabinstraße 8" is a 10 min walk from the main train station (follow the tracks on the left as you look towards the city).

The buildings “An der Schlosskirche 2-4” and "Am Hofgarten 8" are located next to the famous yellow main building, a 10 min walk from the main train station in the direction of the city.

How to Find Us by Car

If you go by car to the faculty, we recommend choosing one of the car parks. The closest one to the Rabinstraße is the "DB BahnPark Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof City", Am alten Friedhof 17, 53111 Bonn.

If you are heading for the building "An der Schloßkirche", we recommend the Unigarage, Regina-Pacis-Weg 3, 53113 Bonn. It is also close to the Theological Library and the Schlosskirche.
