The department of Social Ethics at the Faculty of Protestant Theology is recruiting for one PhD Position/ Junior Research Fellow (m/f/d) (75%, E13). The position is limited to three years and can then be extended for a further year within the duration of the ERC project. 

(Senior-) Research Fellow

The department of Social Ethics at the Faculty of Protestant Theology is recruiting for a (Senior-) Research Fellow (m/f/d) (100%, E14). The position is initially limited to three years and can then be extended for a further two years within the duration of the ERC project.

What Christians Believe

A comprehensive new reference work, “A History of Early Christian Creeds”, written by Professor Wolfram Kinzig, has now been published by De Gruyter.

Wolfram Kinzig receives the Giuseppe Alberigo Award 2024

Professor Wolfram Kinzig has been awarded the Giuseppe Alberigo Award 2024 of the European Academy of Religion for his upcoming book "A History of Early Christian Creeds.” The award was been presented to him on 22 May at the annual conference of the Academy in Palermo.

How to Find Us by Bus and Train

Go by train until Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof). The building "Rabinstraße 8" is a 10 min walk from the main train station (follow the tracks on the left as you look towards the city).

The buildings “An der Schlosskirche 2-4” and "Am Hofgarten 8" are located next to the famous yellow main building, a 10 min walk from the main train station in the direction of the city.

How to Find Us by Car

If you go by car to the faculty, we recommend choosing one of the car parks. The closest one to the Rabinstraße is the "DB BahnPark Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof City", Am alten Friedhof 17, 53111 Bonn.

If you are heading for the building "An der Schloßkirche", we recommend the Unigarage, Regina-Pacis-Weg 3, 53113 Bonn. It is also close to the Theological Library and the Schlosskirche.
