Amin Josua

Amin Josua is a PhD student at the Chair of Practical Theology (Prof. Dr. Sabrina Müller). His doctoral research examines orientation and success factors for communicating the Gospel with young people under the conditions of late-modern contextual factors. The project asks which empirically reconstructable and practically-theologically grounded success factors can be identified in relation to contemporary, particularly southern German, contexts, and which heuristic guidelines for structural orientation and practical action can be derived from them. 

His research interests are situated at the intersection of Practical Theology, church development, innovation, and interdisciplinary methodology. As an entrepreneur, former managing director of the gaming project ONE of 500, and consultant for startups and churches, he is particularly interested in how academic insights can be translated into viable forms of practice. This includes Lean Startup methods in church development, theologically responsible business models, and digital and scalable forms of Gospel communication, for example in the contexts of AI and gaming.
