Resilience and Humanities
Over the course of many different projects, we have done and continue to do research on topics related to "Resilience and Humanities". We started this work in 2019 with the project DFG-FOR 2686 "Resilience in Religion and Spirituality" (an interdisciplinary research group consisting of 9 sub-projects). From the sub-projects of this research group, further projects and collaborations arose, for example "Trajectories of perceived stress and resilience" (another DFG-funded project) and "The role of transcultural semantics and symbols for resilience during the Corona pandemic" (a project of the VolkswagenStiftung). Most recently, the project "Entwicklung eines interdisziplinären Konzepts der „ambivalenzsensiblen Nachdenklichkeit“. Reflexive Resilienz für junge Fachkräfte im Gesundheitswesen und in Seelsorge/Spiritual Care" (funded for 5 years within the Reinhart-Koselleck-Programm of the DFG). All of these projects resulted from the research on "Resilience and Humanities" and - by adopting an interdisciplinary and multifaceted approach - consider these topics from different perspectives.
