Lunch Series
In cooperation with the Collaborative Research Center EmpkinS and the Transdisciplinary Research Area “Life & Health”, we organize lectures on “Ethics, AI and Health”.
Discussion & Dinner
In cooperation with the "Evangelisches Forum", the group regularly organizes themed evenings. After an input from a researcher, everyone is invited to join in the discussion.
Democracy Day
The Democracy Day is organised jointly by our Social Ethics Group, the Federal Pupils’ Conference and the GermanDream education initiative – as a launch event for nationwide school project weeks.
Political Hope
This series of workshops focused on the interdependence and relationships between hope, technological innovation and digital change, with a focus on challenges for collective action.
Outreach
We believe it is important not only to publish our results within the scientific community, but also to engage in societal debates. Enclosed you will always find the latest activities at the interface of science and society.
SciCom with Kids
The University of Bonn has long offered university courses that are explicitly tailored to children. At the Department of (Social) Ethics, we also offer other formats for young researchers.
Women in Ethics
In our series #WomeninEthics, a collaboration between our department and the Uehiro Oxford Institute at the University of Oxford, we showcase female thinkers in the field of ethics.
