Henry Chukwuebuka Ezeala
PhD Student
Henry Chukwuebuka Ezeala is a PhD student at the Chair of Practical Theology (Prof. Dr. Sabrina Muller) Faculty of Protestant Theology, University of Bonn. His doctoral research investigates Post-colonial theology of Economic Sustainability in South-East Nigeria, with a particular focus on how Catholic denominations can move beyond prosperity theology, while engendering sustainable economic development using Church institutions and communities in Igboland. His study continues earlier investigations on sustainable behaviors, integral ecology and sustainable development in Nigeria. This research employs a mixed methodology of qualitative studies, the constructivist grounded theory and Osmer’s four method of inquiry, to provide sufficient framework for understanding the dynamics of post-colonialism, and lived religious practices in Igboland in order to formulate progressive sustainable mindsets and behaviors.
