Am 10. April hält Prof. Dr. Matthias Braun im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe "Medien.Mündigkeit – gemeinsam lesen, diskutieren, vernetzen" einen Impulsvortrag zu der Frage, wie Medienmündigkeit und Kinderrechte zusammenhängen. Arbeitsworkshop des Projekts "Semantisierung in Zukunftsdiskursen" Gemeinschaftssemantiken fungieren häufig als Kampfbegriffe, sie markieren Bruchlinien und schließen die eigenen Reihen – und das sowohl in der in Praxis als auch der Theorie. Dabei wird aus dem Gemeinschaftskonzept zugleich ein bestimmtes Gemeinwohl abgeleitet, das wiederum mit einem (imaginierten) Gemeinsinn unterlegt ist. Die Verklammerung dieser drei Konzepte ist häufig implizit, bedarf aber einer klärenden Sortierung, besonders für die Debatte in sich immer stärker ausdifferenzierenden, pluralistischen Gesellschaften. OpenAI's GPT-3 is currently very hyped and on everyone's lips. The transformative potential of such large language models (LLMs) is enormous. Many areas of our lives will change fundamentally – including the legal system. We want to discuss the transformational potential of LLMs in the legal sphere together with high level international experts, aiming to identify a research agenda on the responsible application and governance of LLMs in the legal domain. Hannah Bleher (University Bonn) and Stella Dörenbach (Hans Böckler Foundation) are organizing this event as part of ZEIT Verlag's Zia Fellowship "Visible Women in Science“.
